How to start your own lash brand
You don’t need to own a factory. You need a position, a tight assortment, and a manufacturer who will still pick up the phone at tray 10,000.
Starting a lash brand is one of the more accessible beauty businesses — if you treat the manufacturer as a partner. This is the path we walk with salons, artists, and operators launching a line: from the first brief to the first reorder.
01
Define the brand position
Salon refill, at-home DIY, or glam retail. One primary buyer.
02
Choose the manufacturer
Audit capacity, QC, OEM process, and packaging under one roof.
03
Select a lean line
Two to four hero SKUs. C + CC, 8–14 mm mixed, two diameters.
04
Lock the lash spec
Curl, diameter, length ladder, density, band, finish. Photograph a gold-sample.
05
Design packaging as a product
Tray wallpaper, outer box, and a map or icon system.
06
Sample like a skeptic
Wear test, steam test, crush test. Adjust once, then freeze.
07
Identity that fits the box
Logo, palette, naming, and photography that can live on a 90 mm tray card.
08
Understand MOQ and time
Custom trays 50–200, boxes 100–300. Production 7–35 days.
09
Freight and compliance
DHL / FedEx samples, sea for bulk. SDS, REACH, and carton marks.
10
Reorder before you expand
The second PO is the real launch. Add SKUs only when the first four reorder.
When you’re ready
Request a quote. We’ll come back with a suggested 2–4 SKU starter, packaging path, and a sample kit — without forcing a high MOQ before you’ve seen the lash on an eye.
